My hubby and I decided after work Friday to hop in the car and have a weekend getaway to Washington, D.C. With only a 4 hr drive from Raleigh, NC, we had the most awesome time! It was both of our 1st time and we loved it. From the Washington Monument to The White House!!! There is so much to see…we will definitely go back ;0). Our favorite part was stumbling upon a Block Party given by the students at The George Washington University which included free food and music. I ❤ D.C.!!! Happy Travels ;0)
